How to Care For Your Tutu, Bow Holder or Bows
Caring for your tutu/tutu dress and bows upon their arrival
Your tutu and/or bow may need a little TLC from their long journey to reach you. Upon receiving them please take them out of their packaging promptly. For tutu/tutu dresses you will need to give them some fluffing. Comb them out starting from the inside and work out then hang them up for storage.
On the day of your pictures, party or event - put the dress or tutu on your little girl and re fluff while on them for the perfect look.
If your bows seem a little scrunched, please reshape/fluff them with your fingers and they should bounce right back to life.
How do I clean my tutu/tutu dress and bows?
Please do NOT machine wash or dry your tutu or bows. The tulle can get stretched and pulled ruining the shape and size of your tutu. If your tutu or bow gets dirty please hand wash it and lay flat or hang to dry.
My tutu is wrinkly, how do I get the wrinkles out?
If your tutu is wrinkled or losing the fluff you should comb out the tulle with your fingers working from the inside out. If your tutu is extra wrinkly, hang in the bathroom and run a hot shower for 5-10 minutes to let the wrinkles steam out. If you own a clothes steamer you can use that as well, just do not use steam directly on the tutu so you do not cause heat damage.
How do I store my tutu?
After each use please fluff out your tutu by combing it from the inside out with your fingers and then hang. This will maximize the life of your tutu.
